A Speech for the Guest of Honor
Dear Guest of Honour, we the graduating pupils of standard VII at Chemchemi Nursery and Primary wish to welcome you to our special day of celebrating the end of our primary education. We have travelled a long way from Nursery to Standard Seven and we have enjoyed every opportunity, we have enjoyed many experiences in our physical, moral, emotional and learning, such as visiting to the Bunge, which has enriched our learning.
We would like to give a big thanks to our parents for their important guidance and support. We also want to thank our teachers, drivers, cooks, gardeners and others who made our life at Chemchemi very safe and comfortable for our learning. We thank the Directors of Mesomapya Trust Fund for supporting our learning and giving us a good start in preparation for going to secondary schools. We feel confident that we will continue to do well when we join different secondary schools because at Chemchemi School we always try our very best and we know we will do well.
We would like to suggest further improvement at Chemchemi for example more sports activities, debates with other English medium schools in order to improve spoken language, and story writing competitions. As well as continuing to develop the maths, science and Information Technology subject areas so that pupils at Chemchemi can have a head start in learning and go out into the world to take our place in the 21st century world of work and contribute to the development of our country.
Finally we would like to say to fellow pupils who are still at Chemchemi School that the moto for Chemchemi School has always been, To Learn, Enjoy and Achieve’ so make sure you learn, enjoy your time at Chemchemi and achieve that is; to do well in your exams. Guest of honour, finally we want to thank you for coming to our graduation day and we promise you and the school that we will soon be part of your great St John’s University and may be as lecturers or even Vice chancellors as well! We know with our hard work and support from our parents we will soon be there.
We thank you very much for your time and hope you enjoy our Graduation celebration Day for Standard VII pupils at Chemchemi Nursery and Primary School 2015.
